









The principal locations of BLI are in Montreal (where we have our head office), Torontoand Quebec City. In each of these cities, BLI is right downtown, close to monuments, shops, museums and businesses.
BLI employs approximately 150 people in our various centres: administrators,language instructors, translators, and a director in each of the centres.
All of our instructors teach their mother tongue and have a diploma in language teaching.
Our oral language courses are offered principally in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and German. Other Western and Oriental languages: Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Italian, and Japanese.
Our instruction is divided into six levels, from beginner to expert.
Levels 1 to 3: Beginner to intermediate - goal: threshold
Level 4: Advanced intermediate - goal: competence
Levels 5 and 6: Advanced - goal: functional bilingualism
There are four levels for French courses and three for English courses. They can be followed in succession. However, each level is independent and can be taken separately, as each deals with specific objectives.
Level I: pre-intermediate
Grammatical principles; basic vocabulary; sentence and paragraph writing.
Level II: intermediate
Grammatical principles; business correspondence; speed and precision.
Level III: advanced intermediate
Advanced grammatical principles; drafting of reports and statements; writing techniques.
Level IV: advanced
Refining; polishing; solving grammatical, lexical and stylistic problems.
